KAISER, Walter Stanley - 70, Purcells Cove Road, Halifax, died November 16, 1997, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, VG Site. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Capt. W.A. and Edna (Cook) Kaiser. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Army Militia during and after the Second World War. He was employed with National Sea Products, Cold Storage. He was a member of the Orangemen Acadia LOL, Johnson Black Chapter, Halifax Scarlet Chapter, Black Knight and True Blue. Surviving are his former wife, Beulah Jewers, Ecum Secum West; son, David; a granddaughter. He was predeceased by brothers, Elmore, Howard, Courtney, Bernie, Campbell, John; sisters, Alma, Becky, Adean. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, funeral 4 p.m. Wednesday, all in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax, Rev. Douglas Chard officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial at a later date in Camp Hill Cemetery.
