CREASER, Capt. Eugene St. Clair - 82, 22 Herrington Ave., Yarmouth, formerly of Hants-port, died May 10, 1998, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Riverport, he was a son of the late Ivan S. and Ina M. (Wamboldt) Creaser. Eugene was a member of the company of Master Mariners of Canada. His working life was spent at sea, rising to the position of master. He served on North Atlantic Convoy duty during the Second World War and commanded ships for Gypsum Transportation Ltd. from 1947 until retirement in 1978. Surviving are son, Daniel and wife Judy, Bragg Creek, Alta.; daughter, Pamela and husband Fred Graham, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Jana and Marc Creaser, Laura Graham; brother, Reginald, Saint John, N.B.; sister, Gwen (Mrs. H.L. Marcus), Saint John. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Erna Creaser; brothers, Douglas, Gilbert. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, May 13, in Lohnes-Beazley Funeral Home, Windsor, Rev. Gordon Delaney officiating. Burial in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Hantsport Memorial Community Centre.
