SLAUNWHITE, Edward Mahlon - 91, Terence Bay, died March 13, 1998, in Glades Lodge. He was a son of the late Carter and Lomie (Slaunwhite) Slaunwhite. He was a self-employed fisherman and worked with Nova Scotia Fisheries Research. Surviving are sons, Arthur, Dartmouth; Frank, Ship Harbour; Gus, Halifax; Keith, Terence Bay; daughter, Avirl (Mrs. Edgar Slaunwhite), Terence Bay and Milford; sister, Hilda Slaunwhite, Terence Bay; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Olive Jessie Shubley; brothers, Burrell, Albert, Clyde, Asmand; sister, Lila, Avirl in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Terence Bay, Rev. Glenn Esson officiating. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Terence Bay. Donations to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Terence Bay.
