ISENOR, Bernard Colson - 63, Lantz, passed away March 26, 1998, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Lantz, he was a son of the late Roy and Lila (Currie) Isenor. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Elmsdale Branch 48. He was a truck driver for many years and was employed with Shaw Transport for 24 years. His favorite hobbies were darts and horse shoes which he shared with his family and friends. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Logan; son, Danny and wife Joanne, Enfield; daughters, Darlene Pictou, Cheryl Isenor, both of Lantz; grandchildren, Melissa, Stephen, Shawn and Trisha; sisters, Thelma Sheehy, Shubenacadie; Kay Bell, Lantz; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Lenna Crowe. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, March 28, legion service 7 p.m. today, funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, all in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. Alice Rutherford and Don McFadden officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Milford. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. A fund has been set up in memory of Bernie for the construction of a new Lantz elementary school. Donations can be made at the Royal Bank of Canada, Elmsdale.
