JOUDREY, Cecil E. - 80, Maitland, Lunenburg Co., died February 14, 1998, at home. Born in Sweetland, he was a son of the late John Obed and Laura Lavenia (Rhodenhiser) Joudrey. Besides farming, he had worked for the Nova Scotia Department of Lands and Forest and the Department of Highways. Surviving are daughters, Goldie (Mrs. Wendell Aulenback), Farmville; Sylvia (Mrs. Ray Massey), Lower LaHave; son, Ivan, Maitland; sisters, Myrtle Slauenwhite, Sweetland; Gertrude Dauphinee, Maitland; Olive Whynacht, Bridgewater; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Carrie Pauline Dauphinee; brother, Dawson; a grandchild; a great-grandchild. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Christ Anglican Church, Maitland, Rev. Linda Macdonald officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
