Nothing left of the town but the site of the cemetery has a small church. When the settlers arrived here they built a small church and cemetery and named it Senkiw in remembrance of their homeland village near the town of Zalischshiki, in the Austrian province of Galacia in what is now western Ukraine. When most of the members moved out in the dirty thirties the church and cemetery fell into disrepair. In 1976 a number of descendents got together and decided to renovate it. They made cash donations and volunteered their labour in re-shingling and repainting the exterior, finishing the inside of the church, repairing the fences and cleaning up the cemetery. Relatives installed new memorials, or repaired the old ones.
