Alloa Methodist / Home Church Methodist Cemetery, Peel County , ON

Street Address: Creditview Road at Wanless Drive
Township: Chinguacousy Township (Concession 4, Lot 15)
Locality: Peel County
Municipality: Brampton
Province: ON
GPS: 43.696015,-79.845913

Church / Denomination: The Home Church had been diagonally across the way from the cemetery on the NE corner, and a school was on the SE corner. At the time of Church Union it was decided to build two new Churches. One, keeping the "Home" name was built the next road north (Mayfield and Creditview). The other the next road south at Mount Pleasant. Full Church history of the Home Church could be obtained by contacting Home United Church.

Registered to City of Brampton.

Loose stones were relocated approx. 1985 from a cemetery on a farm at Lot 13/14 Conc 6 WHS. This cemetery was in the middle of a farmer's field in a clump of grass and weeds, back a good piece from the road and near today's GO train line. Because of the location, it was probably a private family burial ground. At the time, it was agreed by those involved that more respect could be given with the move.
