Church / Denomination: The first church was on Werner Boesch's land just outside the hamlet - constructed 1937. Before this date Catholics attended St. Hubert Church near Lucien Lake. 3-1/2 acres of land were devoted to church and cemetery. In 1957 the church was struck by lightning, and for the most part saved. In 1964 a new building was erected on land held by Willie Molnar. This new location placed the church closer to the cemetery itself.

Established 1938.
