The first burial was Laura V. Chase in 1921 who died in childbirth. She was the daughter of Harry and Rhoda Hunter who owned the property. Access used to be through the Hunter family driveway but that has now changed. The cemetery sits on land well below the level of Rte. 105, between it and the St. John River. There is no sign indicating the entrance to the cemetery nor is the cemetery visible at that point. It is a well-maintained cemetery. The Hunter families still take an active interest along with other volunteers in seeing that stones are raised or straightened as needed.
