Blaney emigrated to Canada by 1849. He may have had a brother named Hubertus McGuire (would love to hear from anyone who can shed light on this man!). Buried with Blaney & Elizabeth is a woman named Mary Jane Dubois. It’s unknown how she’s connected to this family.

Further information on this family is appreciated. Send via the e-mail form below.

Wish to contact me about this family?

Please note that I cannot help anyone in their quest to trace their family tree. There are several very good websites dedicated to helping you learn how to climb your tree. They are far more informative and accessible than I am! Please take advantage of those services. Thanks

As useful as it would be, I'm unable to read minds. Therefore I do need your help if you write to me for assistance or to inquire about a possible family connection.

Firstly I need a name - WHO are you looking for? (including the name of their spouse is also helpful).

Secondly a date - WHEN were they born, did they migrate, die, etc?

Lastly a place - WHERE were they born/married, etc.

Why are these three things needed? Name should be obvious. A date helps narrow it down - I may have a name that matches (sometimes a dozen or more) but that's not helpful to either of us especially if none of them turn out to match your information (all it does is waste time). A place narrows it down even further. I may not have the name you're seeking, but perhaps a branch of my tree was in the area at the same time as yours.

A full family history isn't required, just enough information to give me a place to start checking my data for a match. Thanks!
