Enumerator's Note by Hassard W. Purdy: This district is pleasantly situated on the Shore of the Bay of Quinte. The soil generally clay, sometimes broken with limestone rock, and a considerable number of farms with a good slate of Culhactions? with good and Cornish buildings. There is but one durable streams of water which crosses this district of sufficient magnitude to propell Mundinngus? or for milling purposes upon which this is a good site lies a saw and flour mill in course of building.
