Follow highway 66 east from Kirkland Lake, progress about 17 km down the highway, turn left at a large sign stating Dobie Road, travel approximately one KM and turn left onto Upper Canada Drive, drive to the end of the street including the gravel portion until you come to the mine site, stop look left into the bush and you will find the labelled grave of Robert Rhamey Brown, the founder of Upper Canada Mine. His wish was to have his remains buried near the gates of the the mine that he founded. He wanted to keep his eye on the progress of the mine even after death.
