Who Is Isaac?<\/h1><\/div>

Isaac Gilbert<\/strong> was born 25 Oct 1742 in Ridgefield, Connecticut. He died on 5 Sep 1822 in Norfolk, ON just hours after his wife Mary Rowland<\/strong>, whom he married on 10 Apr 1771 in Fairfield, Connecticut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary Rowland<\/strong> was born 24 Nov 1754 in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is thought to be the daughter of Thomas Rowland and Tamson Jacocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaac was a Sergeant in Captain James Dunlop’s company of the Queen’s Rangers starting in 1777. He applied for land in Norfolk County, Ontario as a\u00a0United Empire Loyalist<\/a>\u00a0in 1797.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Isaac and Mary were married in Connecticut in 1771. They had 13 children:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
